We formally welcomed a group of twelve students from universities in Turkey and Italy who will begin their studies at UITM in the winter semester of the new academic year 2023/2024 as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program.
Our students come from Yemen, Somalia, Turkey, India, and Pakistan and represent the following universities: University of Cassino, Aksaray University, Beykoz University, Konya Technical University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU), and Southern Lazio.
During the „Erasmus+ Orientation Day” meeting, the participants were welcomed by Dr. Hab. Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka, prof. UITM, the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, and the University Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program, Aldona Dzidzik. The International Student Support Office staff also provided useful information regarding student life an overview of the university, and the city of Rzeszów.
Throughout this productive session, our international guests had the privilege of engaging with their fellow UITM students. This interaction facilitated the exchange of experiences and provided a platform for them to seek answers to any queries they might have had regarding their adjustment to Rzeszów.
The guests also received welcome gifts and an invitation to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2023/2024 academic year for English-speaking students, which will take place on October 13 this year.
