International Day is an eagerly anticipated outdoor event organized by students, for students, intending to foster a stronger sense of community and promote cross-cultural understanding within the international community at UITM.

Students hailing from ten diverse countries including Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India, Morocco, Tajikistan, Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, will take center stage to showcase their vibrant cultures through traditional costumes, popular songs, and captivating regional dances.

Magdalena Louis, the Director for International Cooperation and Recruitment at UITM, expresses her excitement about this extraordinary event. „International Day is a unique occasion where young people from over a dozen countries, spanning from Papua New Guinea to Zimbabwe, gather to share the joy of dancing and singing. Our talented students at UITM never fail to amaze and delight the audience, and we are delighted to organize this meeting once again in Kielnarowa,” she shares.

The event will unfold in two parts. First, students will showcase their traditional costumes, perform regional dances, and present popular songs from their home countries. In the second part, participants will have the opportunity to dance to the most popular songs from different countries around the world, celebrating unity through music and movement. Additionally, a delectable array of international dishes will be available, providing a delightful dining experience.

International Day will take place on June 22, starting at 5:00 pm, at the UITM campus in Kielnarowa. The event is open to the entire UITM community, creating a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff to come together and celebrate diversity. While the event will be conducted in English, an online livestream will ensure that everyone can join in on the festivities, regardless of their physical location.

Would you like to see the whole event but you cannot come to Rzeszów? We will have a live streaming for those who cannot be with us during this special day.
