Meet new people, get to know Europe and gain new experience – these are the plans and dreams of students from different countries who have chosen the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow for their Erasmus+ exchange programme.

On the 14th and 15th of February our university organized Erasmus Welcome Days. For 2 days Lidia Lejko, the Erasmus+ programme coordinator, was taking care of the group of students who came to the University of Information Technology and Management for study exchange.

Every year we organize the so-called induction days for students who come here to study, so it’s easier for them to integrate to the new environment. 18 students from Turkey, Yemen and India (who study in Italy) took part in the event. It is a great opportunity for them to get acquainted with UITM, visit campuses and meet student from our university.

Students listened to a lecture given by Sylwia Mazur, Head of the International Students Support Section, with great interest. The topic of the lecture was related to ethics and applicable university regulations. Students also had the opportunity to exchange experiences, passionately talk about education systems in Turkey and India, as well as differences and similarities to the Polish system.

On the second day, students visited the campus in Kielnarowa and gathered together on the Market Square afterwards.
