STUDENT: Viktor Pavlyshyn, Ukraine;
INTERNSHIP COUNTRY: Germany
I would like to start with a brief introduction of myself and my interests. I am from Ukraine, twenty years old, studying in Poland now. It’s my senior semester in IT faculty.
I decided to improve my tech skills and also English, so I made a research about different programs which provide a foundation and asked around at university. My classmate said, that he was going to studying with the Erasmus+ programme. In my case, I didn’t want to change my university. I just was more interested in work experience in my major of studying.
One of the most challenging steps was to find some company abroad which is interested in my technical skills. I found a pretty big company in Germany calling IBM and with a good offer and position which is really fit to my background knowledge.
I want to say a big thanks to Erasmus team at my university, they provide quick and quality work. They were a great support, as the visa’s process and gathering the documents were a bit stressful time.
I travelled a lot with invited friends around the Baden-Württemberg area in Germany and also we were in France and Switzerland.
It was a good experience for me and an amazing time.
Thank you a lot for this opportunity.
