On 30 May 2023, the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów signed an agreement with the Beelitz Clinic in Germany regarding the possibility of internships and apprenticeships for students and graduates of the Nursing and Physiotherapy faculties.

As part of this cooperation, students even have the opportunity to be employed in their profession at the Clinic after completing their Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and their Uniform Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Within the cooperation framework, it has also been planned to broaden the professional knowledge and complement the educational offer for UITM students by conducting additional lectures by the Clinic’s experts.

Practical training is the most important aspect of studies, especially for those professions that are directly related to the human being – the patient. For this reason, the University places a great deal of emphasis on enabling students to learn practical skills and broaden their professional experience – so necessary on the labour market. Professional experience improves employment prospects as well as an employee’s qualifications and, above all, it broadens knowledge.

Completing an internship at a friendly Clinic in Germany will allow students to gain practical knowledge of nursing and physiotherapy procedures carried out in Germany. It is a good place to develop practical skills and to make new friends and learn about another culture.

The clinic in Beelitz is located approximately 50 km from Berlin. The clinic consists of:

The Clinic provides interested students with the opportunity to participate free of charge in a German language course in preparation for their internship/apprenticeship at the Clinic. German language classes are held twice a week, 2 hours each, in an online format in small groups. The language course is designed to lead to German language proficiency at B1/B2 level. Students also receive the necessary German language books free of charge.

The German language course for the English-German group takes place on the publisher’s platform, using the latest remote language learning methods for learning the language from the very beginning (level A1). Kliniken Beelitz GmbH provides free accommodation and meals during the internship.
