We invite you to an online lecture „ABC of Sustainable Development” as part of the series „Give high five to the Science”.

Observing the increasing challenges for society and the natural environment, we invite you to listen to another of the lectures devoted to sustainable development as part of the 4th edition of the „Give five to the Science” series. The motto of this year’s edition of the cycle is „Five for Nature”.

We invite you to participate in the on-line lecture by Joanna Kostecka, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof., entitled ABC of Sustainable Development. The meeting will be conducted in English. During the lecture, the audience will discover if we need sustainable development and why? What is this concept? In addition, the lecturer will present some information on what we can do to introduce sustainable development into our lives.

A few words about the speaker – Joanna Kostecka, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof.:

Joanna Kostecka, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof.- Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Agriculture and Waste Management at the University of Rzeszów. The author of nearly 400 scientific publications in Polish and English language, including about 50 publications promoting the knowledge. She tries to convince her students to use the resources of biodiversity in moderation. She is the originator and organizer of cyclical scientific conferences, seminars and workshops, including a series of conferences entitled „Retardation of Resource Transformation. Achievements, problems, prospects ”.
