UITM Nurses can work in Norway


UITM Rector Dr. Wergiliusz Gołąbek and Chairman of the Board of Norint Sp. z o.o, David Pearce – signed an agreement allowing UITM Nurses to work in Norway.

“We are starting cooperation with the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. It is a university that educates practically. Additionally, it has a very good opinion on the international labor market. Our companyis an intermediary between a committed and willing to work candidate and the Norwegian employer. We understand the needs of both parties, making every effort to build lasting cooperation”- informs David Pearce, Chairman of the Board of Norint Sp. z o.o.

The Norwegian labor market is very attractive in terms of salaries. Average wages in Norway are much higher than in other European countries. „According to Eurostat data, the average salary of a nurse in Norway is approximately 4500 Euro / month”- informs Ewa Podgórska, Head of the UITM Careers Service.

“The salary depends on experience. For people starting their career the minimum wage is EUR 21 / hour. This is the basis. For people with experience, the wage is proportionally higher. The company also arranges 8-10 months free Norwegian language course in Poland. Moreover, company provides paid document authorization to be able to work legally in Norway, guaranteed – 24 months contract, and also paid flight to Norway ”- explains David Pearce.

NORINT Sp. z o.o. is an employment agency that specializes in recruiting, among others medical professionals to work legally in Scandinavia. The company helps at every stage of recruitment.

Year by year, the demand for specialized medical personnel is increasing across Europe. That is why in the 2019/20 academic year the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów opened a new path of Bachelor’s Degree education – Nursing. Candidates may apply for studies in Polish or English language.

Recruitment for Nursing Programme is now open and all candidates have chance to apply until 31st of March 2021.
