Thanks to joining the action Precious Gift you can become a Santa Claus.

The Student Council together with the Academic Chaplaincy are organizing a Christmas fundraiser for people in need. This year, they want to unite students and employees of the University again around the Precious Gift (from the Polish Szlachetna Paczka) initiative.

This time, Ms. Karolina will receive help. She is a single mother of three children. Her difficult family situation is caused by her ex-husband. Being a mother of three young children is extremely demanding. Ms Karolina does her best to provide them with the best possible conditions – but this is not enough.

The current epidemic situation changes the form of annual aid. “This year, in a pandemic situation, we cannot organize the traditional visit of St. Nicholas at UITM. However, it does not mean, that we do not want to and will not try to help people in need. This year we collect not only Santa’s Gifts but also money in a Caritas can at the University reception at ul. Sucharskiego 2. The collected sum will be transferred in full to the family selected as part of the Precious Gift (from the Polish Szlachetna Paczka)”- says Andrzej Cypryś, UITM Academic Chaplain.

Donations can be submitted until December 8th this year. in the Student Council’s room (RA42) on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as well as at the university reception at ul. Sucharskiego 2 (gifts left behind should be signed ” Student Council „).
