We know the scholarship holders for the next edition of our School of Leaders.

In the next academic year 2022/2023, 31 students from 11 different countries will participate in the School of Leaders program.

Recently we have organized auditions for candidates for the School of Leaders (SoL), which is our educational program. They were carried out, both in-house at the IQ Academic Club and online for students from distant corners of the world. Recruitment for the School of Leaders takes place at the end of each academic year, and the qualification for the program is based on the winter scholarship ranking. Each student who obtained 401 or more points as part of the settled application for the Rector’s Scholarship received a dedicated invitation. In response to them, students sent their current CV and a brief justification of their candidacy. From among the submitted applications, the SoL Committee selected 40 the best, most interesting and the most creative applications, and their authors were invited to individual interviews – says Małgorzata Sokół, School of Leaders coordinator.

This year students from 11 countries joined the programme. They come from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Spain, Malaysia, Maldives, Russia, India, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Poland. Ultimately, 31 students were admitted to the program.

During the programme, participants will have the opportunity to pursue paid internships in many partner companies of the University of Information Technology and Management. Cyclical business workshops will be organized for them, students will explore the secrets of public speaking and the art of self-presentation, and they will also be involved in working on joint projects, eventually becoming an advisory body to the University authorities in creating the most favorable academic reality. All this to increase the chance of academic or professional success, depending on individual aspirations. Our goal is to discover the potential and its maximum development – announces the coordinator of the SoL program.

So far, a total of 72 students of various nationalities (Poland, Zimbabwe, Bulgaria, India, Ukraine, Kazakhstan) have benefited from the School of Leaders program.

School of Leaders (SoL) is a scholarship program at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. It was launched for the first time in the 2018/19 academic year. Its main goal is to support the most talented students in their scientific development and shaping leadership attitudes and skills. Qualification for the School of Leaders is based on applications for the UITM Rector’s Scholarship. Students who qualified for the highest scholarship level, regardless of their nationality, field of study and year of study, or form of education, will be invited to participate in this exclusive program.
