The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow educates graduates who are attractive on the labour market. The university cooperates closely with the social and economic environment and provides students with practical and useful knowledge. The UITM enjoys well-deserved prestige and reputation, both in Poland and abroad.
The decision on awarding the „University of Leaders” certificate is taken by a selection board consisting of prominent representatives of Polish science who specialize in higher education management and the development of education and labour market system. This year, in addition to the „University of Leaders” certificate for the period of June 2017-2018, the Expert Committee has awarded the University of Leaders Golden Certificate to UITM, a certificate which is awarded to tertiary institutions which received six certificates in seven editions. In addition, UITM was honoured with the „Highest Quality of Study” award. UITM is the only non-public university in the region which has been awarded the title of „University of Leaders”.
– “Obtaining the „University of Leaders” certificate by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow is an important argument while choosing a university. „The certified university once again confirms that it meets – to a significant extent – the requirements of the” University of Leaders ” with respect to all accreditation criteria. The evaluated institution is managed in a modern, coherent manner, based on broad analytical needs of the socio-economic environment. The university’s activities, which are performed on high level of innovation and professionalism, are aimed at practical education of students, developing cooperation with employers and increasing students’ social competences and professional skills. It is also worth stressing that these activities are of permanent and systemic nature, which fact seems particularly important in the context of the university’s recertification. The evaluated university fulfils the requirements of the Programme, i.e. it develops its students creativity, ingenuity and pro-innovative attitudes. It seeks to shape its own educational offer, taking into account the needs of the labour market in Poland, the European Union and the tendencies there. It adapts the content and methods of education to the expectations of the external environment, in particular the economic environment, implements modern, advanced and innovative systems for improving the quality of education and ensures participation of socioeconomic environment in the education process.
The university promotes academic entrepreneurship, provides students with knowledge and skills which are useful on the labour market, supports innovations in education, promotes social responsibility and actively supports the professional development and careers of its graduates.
Based on the above, the positive result of the certification procedure in the 7th edition of the „University of Leaders” Programme is fully justified.”
