FACULTY: Management

In addition to general economic knowledge, students learn various aspects of management in the context of international business activity. A creative approach to problem solving in business is developed. Other aspects include: the company and its economic environment, managing company potential, analysis and evaluation of company performance, short-term and long-term strategic decision-making processes.

Managerial Economics equips students with tools for making managerial decisions under different market structures.

Strategic Management course is organized to show students how to  conduct strategic business analysis and make strategic business decisions.

Controlling course provides students with an overview of accounting methods and techniques used in the decision making processes which they will later apply to solve companies problems.

Quality Management (TQM) is designed to familiarize students with methods, techniques and tools used to support quality management in businesses so that they will be able to formulate and interpret the requirements of the TQM philosophy and provide examples of successful application of this philosophy in the management practice.

Company Value Management prepares students to design value-based management systems as well as perform simple value-oriented business valuations and appraisals.

Supply Chain Management aims at familiarizing students with different supply chain business models in order to apply the appropriate cost accounting methods in supply chain controlling as well as recognize and manage the risk within supply chains.

Graduates obtain a Mastersr’s Degree in International Management and can run their own companies as well as occupy middle management positions.
