One-Year Intensive English Language Course
A1/A2 – Basic User
Knows basic English. Can exchange information on familiar and routine tasks (shopping, travel, restaurant, place of living), provided that the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
B2 – Independent User – level 2
Can interact with a degree of fluency. Can understand the meaning of utterances concerned with concrete and abstract topics. Can take an active part in discussions using terminology related to their speciality.
During the course you will acquire the following skills: listening, reading comprehension, grammar correctness, as well as speaking and writing skills. In the first part of the course you will get to know English for everyday situations. In the second part of the course, however, you will be acquainted with business-related vocabulary and terminology concerned with your field of study. The terminology is essential to understand lectures and take an active part in classes.
Your knowledge after the course
The course starts with learning basic vocabulary and grammar. Particular emphasis is put on language production and simple academic texts comprehension (written and oral).
During the course students learn how to write texts of different kind.
Students learn how to make notes, understand popular-science texts, make use of professional literature, write summaries and prepare oral presentations.
After the course you will:
- express freely your opinion and emotions in English,
- speak fluently not only about everyday matters but also about business-related topics,
- write letters, e-mails, notes, essays, and reports,
- understand spoken English,
- comprehend written texts related to popular-science and business.

During the course students learn how to write texts of different kind. Students also learn how to make notes, understand popular-science texts, make use of professional literature, write summaries and prepare oral presentations.
After the course you will:
