For the 7th time, the European Information Centre Europe Direct – Rzeszów that operates at the UITM organized the Europe Day in order to commemorate the signing of the Schuman Declaration. The event took place at the Centre for International Education, in Kielnarowa campus, and attracted almost 300 students from Podkarpackie primary schools and kindergartes.
The topic of this year’s celeration of Europe Day was the 15th anniversary of Poland’s membership in the EU and how the European Parliament functions. One of the points of the celebration – as the previous year – was the simulation of the European Parliament’s deliberations. The students, or rather members of parliament, fullfilled their duties exemplary. All applications were voted by the members.
