A new academic year is just around the corner, and in October, we will once again welcome students from all over the world to the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
We are looking forward to meeting our new students, welcoming them to Poland and helping them take their first steps into university life.
We know that moving to another country to study is a big decision. It is exciting, but it can also feel challenging — especially at the beginning. There may be many questions: What happens after I arrive? Where should I go first? How will I find my way around the university? What if I arrive later than planned? What if I do not know anyone yet?
At UITM, you do not have to figure everything out on your own.
Your first steps at UITM
Once you arrive in Rzeszów, your first important stop will be our Admission Office, where you will receive the information you need to begin your studies and complete the necessary formalities. From there, our International Student Support Office will help you settle into your new environment and guide you through the practical aspects of being an international student in Poland.
And what if your visa process takes longer and you arrive after the beginning of the academic year?
Don’t worry. It happens.
We understand that international students sometimes face delays that are beyond their control. If you arrive later, you will still receive all the necessary information and support. Our team will help you understand what you have missed, what you need to do next and where to find the information you need to start your studies with confidence.
Big enough to offer opportunities. Small enough to know you.
UITM is an international university with students from many different countries and backgrounds. At the same time, we believe that a university should never feel anonymous.
Here, you are more than a Student ID number.
We are large enough to offer a diverse academic environment, modern facilities and an international community, but small enough that our staff can get to know our students personally. We want you to feel that when you come to our offices, you are not just another person in a queue — we know your name, we know your story and we are here to help.
Before you even arrive in Poland, we stay in regular contact with our new students. We know that waiting for a visa, preparing documents and planning your move can sometimes be stressful. That is why our team is available to answer questions, clarify doubts and help reduce uncertainty before your journey begins.
Poland is waiting for you
Starting your studies in a new country is an adventure. The first days may not always be easy. You may experience culture shock, miss home, have to get used to a new language or simply need some time to find your routine.
That is completely normal.
And then, little by little, Rzeszów becomes familiar. You discover your favourite places, meet new people, find your way around campus and begin to feel that Poland is becoming your new home.
Autumn in Poland has its own special atmosphere — colourful parks, crisp mornings, cosy cafés and the energy of a new academic year. We hope that this will be the beginning of a memorable chapter in your life.
So, as October approaches, remember one thing:
You are not coming to UITM alone.
From your first contact with us, through your arrival and throughout your studies, our teams are here to support you. We want every international student to feel welcome, safe and part of the UITM community.
See yourself at UITM. Your journey starts here.
