Today, there were a few organizational meetings, where our new students got the most important information and finally became part of our academic community.
Students starting their studies in English at the University of Information Technology and Management had their first meeting today with the Vice-Deans for studies in English, I.Cichocka (Management) and J.Korniak (Information Technology)
Meetings took place in the Main Auditorium of Rzeszow Campus in compliance with strict sanitary regimes. Some students attended this meeting online.
Group attendants and a representatives of the Student Council and Student Support Section were present at the meetings to welcome new students and to share with them some practical information.
Several hundreds of young people from many countries came to UITM in Rzeszow despite of the delays in student visa processes and restrictions in air transport related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The largest groups of foreign students will study Aviation Management, Programming and International Management towards their bachelor degree.
New students were provided with the most important information about the subjects they are going to study, timetables, deadlines and where to get help or assistance during their studies. There were also explained how to use UITM IT Systems which is very important in the times of hybrid learning.
Later on today, students will also have professional training on how to navigate and use university IT Systems and Webex System, so that they can start online learning straight away. The first classes for Aviation Management students will take place today.

“I’m from Kazakhstan and when I saw UITM’s offer in my school I wanted to join it. Although, currently studying is difficult, for me the hybrid mode and studying online is suitable. I decided to choose General Aviation and I’m more than happy to start the programme.” – Gaukhar first-year student from Kazakhstan
