Where did it all start? How has the UITM changed? What did the following years bring? – we invite you to an extraordinary journey in time with the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our University, we decided to prepare a Digital Chronicle of History of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, extract from the drawers photos and films made in the first years of the university’s operation with a huge VHS camera, return to the facts – both those well-known today, but also often forgotten events. Some of them were written down in paper chronicles, jubilee books, so far carefully kept in private and official archives.
As in any chronicle, here are also facts, figures and events – but not only!
On the one hand, this extraordinary sentimental journey will evoke many emotions, comments and memories, and on the other, it will show that the 25-year history, which today constitutes the academic heritage of our Alma Mater, is a story worth boasting about.
We invite all students, employees and graduates to jointly create the UITM Chronicle. Please send your archival films and photos to: bow@wsiz.edu.pl. Gifts will be drawn among the people who send the most interesting materials.
At the same time, we would like to thank those who have already responded to our request and shared their archival materials.
The premiere of the digital Chronicle of History of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów will take place on March 8, 2021, exactly on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the University.
