The Graduation Ceremony at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów is behind us.
On this occasion, the group of UITM Alumni community has grown by several hundred more people. Congratulations to all of them!
This year, the group of UITM graduates was joined by students of IT and Management programmes. The graduation ceremony took place on the 26th of November.
The ceremony of awarding graduates with professional titles was led by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Collaboration, prof. Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka. After the words of the nomination were pronounced, the Graduates could move the tassels on their caps from their left to the right side. This symbolic gesture officially introduced them to the group of UITM graduates.
Graduate of the Year Award Winners
The best graduates of particular fields of study with the highest average grades received the title of „Graduate of the Year”. This title is awarded each year by the UITM Governance.
The winners of the title of „Graduate of the Year” were:
Ihor Telepenko – Computer Science, undergraduate studies
Radosław Młynarczyk –International Business Management, undergraduate studies
Adam Kwaśnik – International Business Management, postgraduate studies.
Then all this year’s graduates of the University of Information Technology and Management received diplomas and congratulatory letters.
The artistic part of this year’s Graduation was filled with a performance by Irena Szara, a graduate of Journalism and Social Communication, blogger, mother, and singer. Irena Szara is the winner of the International Vocal Festivals, the author of lyrics, and the vocalist of the band she founded with her husband. During the Graduation, there was a traditional Mexican wave, joint commemorative photo sessions, and tossing caps. A film presenting the benefits of membership in the UITM Alumni Club also aroused great interest. After the official part, there was a glass of champagne with the University Governance.
