We are delighted to invite you to the international academic conference, „Truth in Crisis: Literary and Linguistic Representations of Post-Truth Phenomena”, co-organized by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów and Sapienza University of Rome. The event will take place on June 26–27, 2025, in Rzeszów, Poland.
The conference focuses on the phenomenon of post-truth, which increasingly shapes public discourse, literature, and media. It aims to critically examine the manipulation of facts and the creation of narratives, with a particular emphasis on American and British media. Participants will explore the mechanisms of disinformation, media influence, and the role of literature and audiovisual translation in addressing these processes. Discussions will also delve into testimonies and personal narratives used as tools of manipulation in literature, media, and society.

Call for Papers
We warmly invite scholars, academics, and Ph.D. candidates to actively participate by submitting abstracts for individual presentations. Abstracts (up to 300 words) and short bios (up to 200 words) should be submitted by March 30, 2025, to:
