The spirit of returns to WSIiZ!

After the tremendous success of last year’s edition, which brought together hundreds of participants — university students, high-school pupils, teachers, and members of the local community — Afrofusion is returning to our University.

During the previous event, guests experienced the richness of African culture, took part in interactive workshops, listened to inspiring stories shared by African students, and immersed themselves in the music, rhythms, and colors of the continent.

This year, we invite you once again on a journey — even more dynamic, creative, and full of positive energy!

Afrofusion 2025 will take place on 28 November (Friday) from 9:15 AM to 12:30 PM in the IQ Academic Club.

Afrofusion is a unique event that blends education, art, dance, music, and intercultural dialogue. It is not just a series of presentations and activities — it is a meeting with lived experiences, perspectives, and talents of African students whose voices help us see the world more broadly, deeply, and openly.

You will explore Africa through the eyes of its young representatives — diverse, modern, proud, and vibrant. You will learn about traditions and contemporary trends, listen to stories about culture and languages, enjoy dance and music performances, and most importantly — connect and build relationships with our international student community.

Last year, Afrofusion brought enormous enthusiasm — participants emphasised that the highlights were authentic student stories, energetic dance performances, and the chance to practice English in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
