Recently the implementation of the international project “Education and Perspective” was summarized. As part of it, UITM cooperates with the German Kliniken Beelitz GmbH based in Beelitz-Heilstätten in Germany and EUPaRS. In the academic year 2023/2024, Nursing students had the opportunity to participate in a free German language course.
During the one-year course, the participants achieved a satisfactory level of B1 knowledge of German. The project – in addition to a free course – also gives the opportunity to go for internships and internships to Germany after achieving communicative knowledge of specialized German.
Participation in the project is a great opportunity for students to learn specialized German, which is the basis for communication with the patient, understanding medical procedures and documentation, but also the possibility of later employment in the clinic and gaining valuable experience. The clinic for graduates of Nursing who declare their willingness to work in the clinic offers full support in the procedure of nostrification of the diploma in Germany. In my opinion, the possibilities offered by this project and the decision to continue cooperation will bring many opportunities for Nursing students – emphasized Dr. Marlena Krawczyk-Suszek, Plenipotentiary of the Rector of UITM for Nursing and Development of the Medical College.
