The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów invites foreign students to participate in intensive international education programs as part of the SPINAKER project. The program „IT Specialist – Intensive International Education Programs in the Field of IT,” is co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development, a non-competitive project entitled „Supporting the institutional capacity of Polish Universities through the Creation and Implementation of international study programs”.
The first course offered, Career Planning for the Professions of the Future in the IT Industry, is designed to help students explore their interests, identify potential career paths, and build a personal, unique, and sustainable competitive advantage in a rapidly changing work environment. The course encourages a shift in understanding professional work, viewing a „career” not as a single job but as a portfolio of formative experiences aimed at developing awareness and skills.
The course will use the original BE(A)ST methodology, which is the result of three research programmes: two Erasmus+ programs (BEAST and OMNI-BEAST) focused on the development of the method and one program funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (Adaptation and evolution of the DYL methodology to individualized career planning in higher education institutions – DYLMIC), focused on its adaptation, scientific validation, and dissemination.
THE COURSE WILL BE CONDUCTED ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH (78 hours of classes) in ONLINE MODE.
