As well as gaining the benefit of studying with UITM, foreign students make an invaluable contribution to our higher education, culture and economy.
Though we have data about these students’ numbers and demographics, too little is known about their unique experiences and needs, and the best ways for universities to support them, therefore we are taking this opportunity from the day one to learn from them – says Magdalena Louis, the Director for International Recruitment and Collaboration at University of Information Technology and Management.
The admission process for the New Academic Year 2023/2024 at UITM is now completed. All efforts are being directed to welcome and guide Freshers from all over the wold. What is more, UITM team help them to find their way around campuses, as well as assist them in moving into their accommodation. Students coming from different countries have chosen university’s dorm or the decided to live in flats and apartments in Rzeszów. Poland has become a popular destination for International Students, offering a wide range of degree courses in English Language and UITM with over 25 years of experience is the strongest player in the South-East region of Poland.
I am absolutely delighted to see how many international students are enrolling this week at UITM, from Zimbabwe, Vietnam, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Indonesia and other countries, Magdalena Louis continues. Our most popular Bachelor’s programme , especially among the Zimbabweans, is Social Work. Studying Social Work in Poland is a bit of novelty but we are working closely with Social Work UK to make sure our graduates will have a clear career path either back in their countries, in Poland or anywhere else in Europe and further.
Social Work is a 3 years degree course that UITM offers from 2023. Experienced lecturers from UK have been invited to collaborate with the university to make sure that the education offered here meets international standards.
