First of all, thank you for allowing me to share my experience! I am Ukrainian, almost 20 years old, born and raised in a small town near Lviv. I’m currently studying in the Aviation management field in UITM here in Poland.
I have spent some time thinking about what would be the best place for my traineeship, I knew I wanted to communicate with people and help them but I also liked organizing events. Then I decided that Happy Erasmus Bilbao was the best place for me.
When I just arrived in Bilbao, it was really strange, because it was something different from my previous experiences. I was like a sponge, tried to soak up as many things as I can! Probably one of the Erasmus+ program’s most celebrated and spoken-about advantages is the fact that its alumni leave with a network of lifelong friends, learn a new language, and experience a new culture.
At first, I didn’t believe that in such a short period, you could find true friends. But later I just realized that I found them. It was like a boom. I remember one day, when I was sitting with them on the beach and watching a sunset, I just blurted how comfortable and happy I feel next to them.
My bosses were real experts in their business, so it was very easy to work with them.
I just want to say thank you very much for all Erasmus team for giving me such a great opportunity to spend the best summer of my life in Spain!
