The HackYeah website currently lists the first six challenges: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, CYBERSECURITY, EDUCATION, GAMEDEV, FINANCE, and WELLNESS & ACTIVITIES. More challenges will be announced on the event page.

She Hacks! Create Without Limits

SheHacks, an initiative created as part of HackYeah 2022, continues to this day. The organizers aim to promote women’s presence in the IT industry and show that the new technologies market is open to everyone, regardless of gender, skin color, or culture. SheHacks aims to create a comfortable environment for working, learning, and playing, where women can pursue their passions and showcase their skills.

In HackYeah 2023, 750 women participated, accounting for 25% of all participants. The SheHacks initiative aims to ensure equal opportunities and employment conditions for women in IT, promoting equality, respect, and appreciation for each participant’s work.

Who Can Participate in the Hackathon?

Everyone! Participation is open to all interested parties: students, programmers, UX/UI designers, project managers, engineers, database experts, analysts, or gamers. Projects can be submitted individually or in teams. Communication between participants, organizers, mentors, and judges will take place on the Discord channel. All hackathon participants can count on mentors’ support for technical issues or career-related questions.

One of the mentors for the 10th edition of HackYeah will be Dr. Ulyana Zaremba, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.

Support a Charitable Cause

The organizers traditionally donate ticket income to charitable institutions. In 2023, the income was donated to the foundation established by Tomasz Rożek – „Nauka. To lubię” (Science. I like it). This year, the ticket income will be used to purchase electronic equipment for a selected orphanage in Małopolska. By registering for the event, you support a noble cause.
