UITM students gain access to more specialists from the aviation industry, and the university has a greater opportunity to implement exciting science and research projects.

Rector of UITM, Dr Wergiliusz Golabek and LOT Vice President, Maciej Wilk signed an agreement on taking over specialized training of Aviation Management and General Aviation as a strategic partnership of LOT Polish Airlines.  The University’s cooperation with one of the most dynamically developing airlines in Europe is a huge distinction and a chance for the joint development of both institutions.

As part of the partnership, a number of activities are planned in which LOT specialists will take part in consulting and updating learning outcomes and study programs for Aviation Management and General Aviation education pathways.  In addition, students and graduates of both faculties will be able to participate in internships prepared especially for them.  Joint research and development projects are also planned.

The Aviation Management and General Aviation specialty programmes have been conducted at the University since 2010.  These elite English-conducted education pathways are the only of its type in Poland.  Graduates of the programme have been employed for years at international airports around the world and at major global airlines.  The cooperation with LOT is another step in the development of aviation specialties at the UITM, which are very popular among candidates from nearly 50 countries.
