December 5, 2023. The National Agency for Academic Exchange organized a meeting for Polish institutions that hold the European distinction „HR Excellence in Research.”
During the event, the latest European solutions and initiatives supporting the professional development of researchers were discussed, as well as the achievements of Polish units in this area.
The speakers were:
- representatives of the European Commission:

– Michele Rosa-Clot – HRS4R Manager, European Commission
- representatives of universities and institutes involved in the implementation of the European HR strategy:
– Monika Zaremba, EURAXESS Network, NAWA
– Dr. Katarzyna Świerk, Director of the Office of Science, HRS4R evaluation expert, University of Gdańsk
– Monika Kowalik, PhD, Head of Dissemination and Publishing Department, Institute of Fertilization and Soil Science – PIB
– Izabela Najda-Jędrzejewska – Deputy Director, Department of Innovation and Development, Ministry of Education and Science,
– Dr. Zofia Sawicka – Deputy Director, National Agency for Academic Exchange
The meeting was an opportunity to obtain valuable comments and exchange experiences.
The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow has been a beneficiary of HR Excellence in Research since September 22, 2017.
The HR Excellence in Research certificate awarded by the European Commission is a confirmation that the unit is characterized by a friendly scientific work environment and implements transparent rules for recruiting researchers. The logo received obliges the University to continuously improve its HR policies in accordance with the EC’s recommendations.
