International students celebrate the spirit of Christmas at UITM’s Christmas Party.
The event, organized by the International Student Support Office, showcased a rich tapestry of Yuletide traditions from Poland and various other countries.
The Christmas gathering, attended by nearly 200 international students, was a vibrant fusion of cultural exchange and festive joy. The agenda featured captivating stories detailing Christmas customs from places like Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, India, and Kyrgyzstan. The international students not only shared narratives but also adorned the stage with lively artistic performances, encompassing Christmas songs and dances.
The festivities included engaging competitions and games, with a highlight being the search for the best-dressed participant of the evening. The event, designed for both enjoyment and learning, aimed at fostering a sense of unity among the students. The second part of the evening unfolded with a delightful exploration of Polish holiday dishes traditionally savored on Christmas Eve. Participants not only had the chance to savor these delectable treats but also engaged in a variety of entertaining activities.
