Celebrating Diversity: International Day at UITM Brings Cultures Together.

International Day at UITM, is not just another party for students. This event organized for the 3rd time, at our beautiful campus in Kielnarowa is dedicated to international and Polish students.

The international community at UITM has now passed the 1300 mark. Out of all the places that they could have chosen from, they chose UITM, they chose Rzeszow, they chose Poland. They study here, they work here, and most importantly they have fun here and they share with us their incredible energy and their unique culture.

During the 3rd edition of International Day at UITM students performed their traditional dances, sang beautiful songs, and above all they had the opportunity to integrate with each other. Every year the event is more colorful, lively and more energetic.

The event was organized by Dominika Cichocka and Anastasiia Hlukhova, who are in charge of the International Student Support Office, with the help of many student volunteers and local government who donated gifts for the lottery. Special thanks go to Krystyna Stachowska, Vice President of Rzeszow City, and Wiesław Buż, Deputy Governor of the Podkarpackie Region, who attended the event.

The University governance was represented by Barbara Przywara, Vice-Rector for Teaching at UITM. More than 300 students attended the event, both on stage and off stage and the number of participants has grown from year to year. Magdalena Louis, the Director for International Collaboration and Recruitment at UITM, is particularly impressed with how this event is attracting more are more people every year, “ We are very lucky at UITM to have such a diverse and vibrant community of International students. Young people from many countries have presented their incredible talents and I would like to thank them for sharing with us their beautiful culture and this incredible energy.”
