Doctor of social sciences in the field of social communication and media studies (University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, 2019), Master of Mathematics (Jagiellonian University, 1994). A graduate of postgraduate studies in Public Relations (Krakow University of Economics, 1998) and postgraduate qualification studies for directors of educational institutions Management and organization in education (Academia Ignatianum, 2016). Authorized to sit on supervisory boards of State Treasury companies (Ministry of Treasury, 2012).
Focuses research interests in the area of mediatization of education, new media, media competences and systemic changes in Polish education.
Professionally combines experience from business, education and non-governmental organizations. For many years, she has carried out marketing projects, working in the media and commercial companies from various industries, introducing new products to the Polish and foreign markets, creating and implementing marketing strategies and conducting PR activities. In the years 2006-2016 she was the chancellor of the Tischner European University in Krakow, responsible for the development and management of the university. In recent years, she has conducted consulting activities for companies, mainly in the education sector, in the field of strategic planning, business process improvement and business development, and business analytics.
Over the years, she was a member of various bodies – the Senate of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, the Senate of the Tischner European University in Krakow, the Council of the Foundation for Supporting Students and Graduates’ Initiatives of the European University.
Professional experience has resulted in her belief that the way to the develop an organization is by taking a broad look at the changes taking place, noticing connections, asking the right questions and an in-depth analysis of problems. Dr. Gosek believes in the power of teamwork and the clash of different opinions.
Privately, a lover of mountains, inspiring books and Italian cuisine.
