Meet new people, get to know Europe, and gain new experiences; these are the hopes and dreams of students from different countries who have chosen the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow for their Erasmus+ exchange programme
On the 27th and 28th of February, our university organized the Erasmus Welcome Days. For 2 days the Erasmus+ Office was taking care of the group of students who came to the University of Information Technology and Management for study exchange. It is already a UITM tradition to organise this integration event which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated by the incoming students.
Every year we organize the so-called induction days for students who come to study to make it easier for them to integrate into the new environment. 26 students from Turkey and India (who study in Italy) took part in the event. It is a great opportunity for them to get acquainted with UITM, visit the two campuses and meet students from our university.
On the second day, students visited the campus in Kielnarowa and gathered together in the town square afterwards.
The students will spend at least one semester at UITM as part of our academic community. They will attend regular classes and have the opportunity to socialize and take part in all events organised by UITM. They will also learn some basic Polish language in a course designed for them.
