On May 13 – 17, 2019, the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów hosted a delegation from the Romanian partner university – „Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy. The arrival was organized under the scope of the Erasmus+ programme in order to expand cooperation between the universities.
– These are our permanent partners both within the Erasmus+ programme and as part of everyday scientific cooperation – says Lidia Lejko, Head of the Recruitment and International Cooperation Section and Erasmus+ programme coordinator. – Guests were delighted with the University’s infrastructure – campuses in Rzeszów and Kielnarowa – and they expressed their willingness to extend cooperation within the framework of the exchange of employees and the International Week organized by the University of Information Technology and Management.
Alina-Teodor Ciuhureanu and Fabiana Martinescu-Badalan came to the UITM as part of the Erasmus+ mobility for staff. They met with the employees of the Centre for International Studies, took part in classes on English-language courses and visited both campuses.
„Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, Romania is a military university that has been cooperating with the Institute for Studies on Terrorism for many years.
