On May 16, 2025, the University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) in Rzeszów proudly hosted its third Nursing Graduation Ceremony, blending Polish and international traditions in a heartfelt celebration.
Held in the Main Hall in Kielnarowa, 64 nursing graduates, 28 from the English path and 36 from the Polish path, received symbolic caps and pins, marking their official entry into the profession.
The ceremony, filled with emotion, fanfare, and applause, was attended by university officials and guests, including representatives from local and regional authorities.
Dr. Barbara Przywara, Vice-Rector for Teaching, congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the nobility and responsibility of their chosen profession.
Top-performing students were awarded, including Kariri Panashe, Joanna Szaro, Kunashe Charamba, and Patrycja Czopik. Their academic excellence was met with loud applause, flowers, and tears of joy from friends and families.
Deputy Dean Katarzyna Wyczarska-Dziki reminded the graduates of the compassion and strength their work will demand, while student representative Patrycja Czopik reflected on the three year journey of hard work, growth, and unity.
The event also highlighted the university’s continued investment in healthcare education, including the launch of the Medical Simulation Center, a modern facility enabling hands on learning in realistic clinical conditions.
The ceremony closed with music, memories, and a jubilant toss of caps, symbolizing both an end and a promising new start for UITM’s proud nursing graduates.
