For the 29th time, we are inaugurating the academic year at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów and for the 29th time, we are indebted to newly admitted students in their first year of studies. From today on, we are your University, a place to study, acquire professional competences, get to know the world, new people, new ideas and perspectives. Dear students, we are here to provide you with a quality education, but we are also here to strengthen your pursuit of self-confidence and respect for yourself, your own self-direction, distinctiveness and independence – said the Rector of UITM, Dr. Hab. Andrzej Rozmus, prof. UITM, addressing the students.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, nearly 6,000 students, including 1,300 foreign students from over 50 countries, will start their studies at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, including postgraduate students. As part of the Polish and English-language offer, students will be educated in 17 fields of study. The most popular Polish-language fields of study in this year’s recruitment are Computer Science, Computer Graphics and Multimedia Production, Cosmetology, and Physiotherapy. The most popular English-language studies are Computer Science, Social Work, and International Business Management.
2,000 people will start their first year of studies. This is a record increase compared to previous years. The great success of this year’s recruitment is the almost 20% increase in students from Poland who started their studies in Polish-language courses.
