UITM offered Aviation Management programme as a first University in Poland.
The successful start was possible with strong cooperation with IUBH in Bad Honnef, Germany. Experienced lecturers from Germany are visiting lecturers at UITM even today, what makes our program so special from the perspective of internationality and delivery of practical knowledge.

Do you remember how did you hear about UITM and what convinced you to choose to study Aviation Management?
First time I heard about UITM was when I was searching for universities in Europe that offer Aviation Management in English. What convinced me was the location as Poland is a very safe country and it was the only option alongside IUBH in Germany that offered the best course in Aviation Management that time in Europe. What is more, the tuition fee was very affordable, so all factors convinced me to choose UITM.
Did you have the opportunity to earn certifications that helped you later in the job market?
Yes, I was able to learn a lot about airline operations which benefits me and gives me a much bigger picture as I currently work in Cathay Pacific, one of the best recognized and reputable airline in the world that is known for best flight service.
How do you recall your time in Rzeszow?
My time in Rzeszów was very memorable, as I made good friends, and developed good and professional relationships with all professors throughout my studies. Additionally, Rzeszow is a convenient, constantly-developing city. Thanks to that it was never boring.
Tell us about your current job and whether your practical studies helped prepare you for it.
As an advisor at Cathay Pacific, my role is to assist customers with their inquiries regarding our flights, tickets, membership program, etc. I assist with their existing bookings and also coordinate with our stations across the world for customer assistance. Studies at UITM have played a key role in my understanding of Cathay’s operations as we operate throughout the world with busy schedules. During the studies, we worked on different cases which is why, I am able to manage the stressful situations related to airline operations.
