I would like to tell my Erasmus story. Firstly, I found out about this program at my University and they offered me to join. Also, I heard a lot of stories about the Erasmus program before. I was curious to try it out. That is why I decided to participate in the internship under the Erasmus Programme.
I started to search for an internship around Europe and gathering all documents. I have chosen Kos Island in Greece as a place of my internship. I made such a decision because I like warm weather and I am interested in their culture and history.
As you know Greece is mostly famous for its nature and ancient history. Therefore there is a very developed tourism sector. So I was taking an internship at Atlantica Thalassa Hotel for 3 months.
To be honest, it was the first time that I have worked. I guess it was the reason for my hard adaptation period in Greece. Nevertheless, I used to work and see new people every day. I have got a huge experience on how to deal with stressful situations, how to behave yourself with clients, how to endure fatigue and all the antics of customers.
Despite any problem, I appreciate Erasmus+ Programme which helped me to get real work experience and to visit another country.
