What a huge event for our Nursing Students.
Three years ago, young, brave, and ambitious people decided to choose Nursing Studies in Poland. Currently, we celebrate their success during their thesis defenses.
Big day! – The university’s first-ever defense of undergraduate theses for the Nursing programme in English.
On 25 July 2024, the theoretical examination and defense of the Bachelor of Nursing in English theses tok place at UITM. It was the last study day, but probably the most stressful and exciting for young people studying for 3 years.
What is more, two weeks before the thesis defense our Nursing Students had also taken a practical professional exam in the pediatric, internal medicine, and surgical wards – in pre-drawn hospitals (fully successful).
After these tough three years of Nursing Studies in Poland, thousands of hours spent not only at the University, but also in numerous health care units, and hospitals, after countless hours of studying, many sleepless nights, tears caused by stress, and finally the joy associated with passing the exams and defending the thesis – we have our First Nursing Graduates.
„The students went through some hard times and reached their dream destination during Nursing Studies in Poland. I am immensely proud, happy, and very curious about what path each of our graduates will choose. They are wonderful, professional, and open to new challenges. All the patients they met loved them! I am pretty sure that each of them will succeed and be a great nurse in the future. I hope that some of our graduates will also want to stay in Poland, but I would like them to find their ways and help patients wherever they want to!” – says Urszula Kąkol, Dean’s Representative for the Nursing Programme.
The students’ joy should be even greater as they have graduated from one of the most difficult programmes at UITM. Moreover, the level of education of nursing staff in Poland is much higher than in many other countries, if not the highest. This will give our graduates an easier start in their professional lives. Additionally, it also ensures that we have educated nurses who are prepared to enter the job market and succeed in their careers. Thanks to Nursing Studies in Poland our graduates have a bright future.
