UITM has signed an exclusive agreement with Air Res Aviation, which gives a unique opportunity to UITM students to obtain PPL(A)- Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).

Air Res Aviation located at the Jasionka Airport have been training pilots since 2010. Conducted there PPL training consists of 50 hours of theoretical part and 45 hours of flying. During the course students will participant in aviation law, communication, operating procedures, flight performance and planning, navigation, meteorology and much more. Upon completion of the first part of training students will attend 45 hours of practical part, where they can sit in cockpit of Tecnam P2008JC or Cessna 152. At the end of the course, participants will be ready to take part in exam conducted by Civil Aviation Authority, which thanks to solid preparation will be just a formality.

Air Res Aviation provides qualification that allows to act as Pilot in Command (PIC) of single-engine, piston-powered aircraft with the maximum take-off weight of 5700 kilograms. The whole purpose of PPL(A) training is to make our students capable of executing flight operations in accordance with the Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and provide them a possibility of making first step in the road toward becoming an airline pilot.

 

Not only students of Aviation Management or General Aviation can take an advantage of this exciting opportunity. All UITM students are welcomed.

The training will last about 5 months. All lessons and practical training will take place at Air Res Aviation premises.

Thanks to partnership with Air Res Aviation, price of the course for UITM students is lower than for individuals.
