First edition of Tour de UITM!

University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów would like to invite all lovers of cycling to participate in the first edition of Bike Rally combined with EcoPicnic

Tour de UITM – Cycling to health on the Green Velo Trail

The rally will take place on May 13 (Saturday), from 10:30 to 17:00. Competitors who decide to take part will have to overcome a 20-kilometer route from the starting point- Campus in Rzeszów, to the finish point- Campus in Kielnarowa. After reaching the finish line, participants will have refreshments, a BBQ, as well as an EcoPicnic full of attractions, which will be graced by Krystian Herba’s performance. Health, bicycle, and entertainment zones will also be open.

Participants taking an active part in the rally will receive a starting package, a regeneration meal at the finish line, and a commemorative medal.

After completing the whole route you will get a chance to win a bike!

Event programme:

  • 9:30 – Start of the gathering at the UITM Headquarters in Rzeszów, Sucharskiego St. no. 2
  • 10:30 – Start of the Rally
  • 13:30 – Planned arrival at the finish line at the UITM Campus in Kielnarowa
  • 13:30 – 16:15 – Start of the Eco-Picnic promoting physical activity and healthy eating including:

Fun Zone – Attractions and games for children,
Health Zone – check your blood pressure, learn about self-massage techniques and get nutrition advice,
Attraction Zone – competitions with prizes, try your skills at driving wearing alcohol goggles,
Bike Zone – come and try it out! + bike advice, bike safety inspection,
Beauty Zone – painting children’s faces and cosmetic advice

  • 13:30 – Refreshments – Barbecue sausages and a little something to eat
  • 14:30-15:00 – Bike show by Krystian Herba
  • 16:00 -The final of the „Be Eco – design a bicycle helmet” competition
  • 16:15 – 16:30 – Drawing of prizes among the participants of the rally – including a bike!

17:00 – Closing of the Bike Rally

Participation in the rally is FREE of charge, registration lasts until May 5, 2023.

Due to the limited number of places, please register in advance HERE,

registration for people from outside UITM will be opened on April 17 this year.

The partner of the Rally, Decathlon, will provide bicycles from its rental for some participants.
