World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated annually on 23 April in over 100 countries around the world. It is the event promoting authors, illustrators, book publishers and readers. Copernicus Center Press, of which UITM is a co-founder, has also prepared a number of surprises for book and science lovers.

World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995. Main aim of this day is to celebrate books, authors, copyright and encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading. Many publishers, bookshops and libraries prepare various events and activities to promote literature, reading and the work of writers within the scope of the celebration.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are forced to stay at home and most schools around the world are closed. The power of  learning resources and books can be used to help combat isolation and strengthen connections between people. What is more it allows to broaden horizons and make imaginary journeys. Moreover it stimulates minds and creativity. By reading and celebrating World Book and Copyright Day, we open up to others despite keeping distance.  The Copernicus Center Press is inviting you to take part in this extraordinary journey.

In order to celebrate the World Book and Copyright Day, the Copernicus Center Press is inviting the readers to take advantage of an interesting promotional offer.
