Students from the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, the University of Rzeszów, and the University of Law and Administration in Rzeszów will take over the City from Friday, June 2, until Saturday, June 3.
The student celebration will kick off with the vibrant Colorful Parade. Starting at 17:00 on Friday at the Rzeszów market square, students dressed in colorful costumes will gather to enjoy a concert by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the University of Rzeszów, known as „Resovia Saltans.” During the concert, the students will receive the keys to the city gates before setting off on a lively march towards the Akademickie Campus on Cicha Street.
Accompanying events
Several additional events will likely heighten the excitement of Rzeszów Student Cultures in addition to the Colorful Parade. Students are highly encouraged to take part in events like the Chess Tournament, Before at the ALOHA club, the BiegUR (a running competition), and the Great Barbecue. Final concerts will also be held at the URZ student camp, with performances by well-known musicians including Electric Guitars, Video, Mr. Poland, Myslovitz, and Young IGI. There will also be a colorful procession, and the finest disguises will win prizes. Visit our social media outlets for a complete list of the events and performers. The cultures have already begun! In support of this exciting student celebration, the Rector of UITM, Dr. hab. Andrzej Rozmus, prof. UITM has announced that there will be no didactic classes on June 2, 2023, starting from 13:35 until the end of the day. This means that students are not obliged to make up for any missed classes during this time, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the Rzeszów Student Cultures experience.
