UITM prepares to welcome a new cohort of international students for the academic year 2023/2024 on October 13th, 2023.
This opening ceremony marks the beginning of an exciting journey for students pursuing degrees in Management, Information Technology, Nursing, and Social Work. UITM takes pride in offering a wide array of academic disciplines, and this year is no exception.
Among the distinguished guests that will be present at this event is the Ambassador of Indonesia, a close friend, and collaborator of the university. This year, UITM is particularly delighted to welcome Indonesian students who have joined the institution through the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship program, fostering international relations and academic exchange.

Formal proceedings will commence with an introduction to the academic year and the various disciplines for studies in English including Management, Information Technology, Social Work, and Nursing. The ceremony will be graced by distinguished guests and university governance followed by a video presentation about the university and the opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Magdalena Louis, Director of International Collaboration and Recruitment, takes the stage to officially open the ceremony. She also leads the students in reciting the Oath, a symbolic gesture of commitment.
