Last week, we accepted 23 new ambitious students to the Ambassador programme, from 23 different countries.

We are encouraged to learn that so many young people are eager to take part in such a program and become involved in the university community.

Welcome aboard our new UITM Ambassadors from 23 different countries. A huge thank you to our previous ambassadors for working so hard on our joint projects  and your overall engagement in the programme, your efforts will not be forgotten. We recently accepted 23 UITM students to the Ambassador programme. With this new group of students, the UITM Ambassador Programme is more diverse and engaged than ever.

We now have representatives from 23 different countries: Albania, Nepal, Morocco, Rwanda, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Poland, Ethiopia, Georgia, United States of America, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Malaysia.

Last week we hosted a welcoming event for our newly chosen, amazing ambassadors. They will continue to promote and represent our university. During the event, our wonderful new ambassadors had the opportunity to meet and get know each other over some hot tea and cake. This was also a great opportunity for the organizers of the Programme to truly get to know the new ambassadors. Each and every student who attended this meeting has a very good mindset and in turn a very bright future ahead of them.

The organizers of this programme, Ms. Magdalena Louis, Ms. Milena Skiba, and Mr. Mieczysław Moneta also had the chance to introduce the students to the programme. UITM Ambassadors were familiarized with details, including their responsibilities and future projects. This was only the first of many meetings. Therefore there will be plenty of changes for you to get to know them better.

We are pleased to see that students are eager to engage in this program and help UITM expand its wings further. It’s encouraging to see so many young people involved in a program that emphasizes the importance of youth dialogue and understanding. We are looking forward to work closely with our young and ambitious students on future initiatives.
