UITM is constantly developing and expanding international cooperation with universities all around the world.

On April 29, 2024, the Vice-Rector for Science and International Collaboration, Professor Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka, and lecturer Małgorzata Wejsis-Gołębiak visited the Philippine Embassy in Poland. The meeting with Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz concerned potential cooperation between UITM and universities and high schools in the Philippines.

UITM currently ranks 12th in Poland in terms of internationalization and all our efforts go in this direction. Both the educational offer of our university and many years of experience in educating foreigners in English mean that universities from the most remote corners of the world are willing to cooperate with us. We have academic partners in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, and we are ready to take on a new challenge in the Philippines.” – said Professor Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka after the meeting at the embassy.

The Philippine Ambassador recently evaluated the educational programs offered by UITM and expressed her positive views about the university’s curriculum, which is highly attractive for prospective students from her homeland. UITM is renowned for its unique fields of study, which include Aviation Management, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and Biomedical Sciences. With over 1,400 international students currently enrolled at UITM, the university is indisputably the leading institution in the region, and its international student population continues to grow every year.
