The research team conducts research on the quality of life depending on the state of health, the type of rehabilitation and the treatment process implemented, in cooperation with medical institutions in the Podkarpackie and Lubelskie voivodships. In addition, as part of scientific research, the team cooperates with Technomex, a leader in the area of rehabilitation equipment and physiotherapy devices, and conducts research on the parameterization of measurements made by rehabilitation devices entering the medical market.

The purpose of the research is to create quality of life standards in a group of healthy people and to assess the quality of life of people with various disease entities, including a history of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection.
The specific objectives of the research are:
– to create standards of quality of life correlated with health in different age ranges in a group of healthy people.
– to create a ranking of diseases that significantly reduce the quality of life of sick people.
– to identify spheres in which quality of life has been significantly reduced as a result of ongoing chronic diseases.
– to assess the quality of life of people who have undergone SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, taking into account the duration and spectrum of symptoms of the infection.

Quality of life and assessment of postural stability of healthy and sick people under the influence of different factors

The main aim of the research is to assess the effectiveness of rehabilitation in patients with dysfunctions in the musculoskeletal system, using clinical tests, functional scales, standardized tools, as well as modern diagnostic and therapeutic devices.

Improving upper limb function in children with celebral palsy in home-care setting

The main aim of the research is to characterise the effects of therapy based on the implementation of a dedicated exercise program for mobility improvement in home setting on upper limb function in hemiparetic children of 6-10 in the course of cerebral palsy.
